Absolute Body Control is an electronic music project from Belgium. It is notable as the first significant project of musicians Dirk Ivens and Eric Van Wonterghem.

KREIGN is an American Electronic Body Music (EBM) project based in Phoenix, Arizona. The duo, Xiån Austin and Ryan Hutman, created KREIGN to pay homage to the raw energy and pioneering spirit of old-school EBM. However, their sound goes beyond mere tribute. Their tracks are a fusion of classic EBM elements with a modern edge, combining dynamic basslines and aggressive beats. The result is a sound that is both nostalgic and innovative, with a distinctive swagger that sets them apart.

Buzz Kull is the moniker for Sydney musician Marc Dwyer (Marcel Whyler) whose sound is described as a cinematic blaze of industrial darkwave, minimal synth & post punk.

about: Evidently influenced by classic Dark Ambient/Industrial artists like Lustmord, Ah-Cama Sotz and the like, Mortaja worked for years as a living room only project. When Bert – the head of this one-man project – decided to give a demo to audiophob, we were surprised by the quality of his productions and the fact that he has never released anything so far. Bert quickly became member of the audiophob family and has demonstrated his musical abilities on several releases as well as live performances. His highlights so far were live appearances at the Maschinenfest and Schlagstrom festivals.

Ein schwedischer EBM-‘Kick’
So wurde die Band, deren Name Spark! für das Wort ‘Kick’ steht, vom russischen Underground Radio Virus zu einem der besten Newcomer 2007 gewählt.

Endzustand, ist das Old School EBM Projekt von Ralf Rönckendorf. Sein Album Werk des Krieges zeigt mit dem Brennglas, was moderne Konflikte mit Menschen machen, die ihnen ausgesetzt sind.

Seit 2020, im Zuge der Pandemie, ist das vom Haupt-Protagonisten schon 1992 in Berlin gegründete Projekt an:Kst, früher Angst, wiederbelebt worden. an:Kst sind seit Ende 2022 ein Duo und geben sich seitdem auch live auf der Bühne. Es gibt EBM, der sich an den Sound der 80er und 90er orientiert, jedoch genauso keine Scheu vor neueren Einflüssen hat.

Das ist der lebendgewordene Beweis: EBM ist der Jungbrunnen. Scheinbar unendliche Energie und Kreativität – und das über Dekaden.
In unregelmäßigen Abständen geben sie sich bei uns die Ehre. Und nun wird es mal wieder Zeit… Jetzt kann’s losgehen!

Wer seine Platte „Ode an die Arbeit“ nennt, gehört ja wohl auf das Familientreffen. Außerdem handelt es sich hier auch um einen Geheimtip vom Gustav (Sturm Cafe). Bagger 258 verspricht eine eindringliche Live-Performance, die das Publikum mitreißt und begeistert. Mit ihrer Leidenschaft für elektronische Körpermusik und ihrer Fähigkeit, die düstere Energie der EBM in unvergleichliche Klangwelten zu transformieren, hat die Band keine Probleme, das Publikum mitzureiße

Negant präsentiert eine brutale und intensive Interpretation von Industrial, die fest in den klassischen Werken verankert ist – harte Beats, kantige Basslinien, verzerrter Gesang. Der Bezug zum EBM ist natürlich jederzeit gegeben. Die Jungs waren ja schon mal bei uns und wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen am Sportplatz!

So wie das Wörterbuch den Begriff „The Juggernauts“ erklärt, sind sie eine unaufhaltsame, zerstörerische Kraft und die Musik der Juggernauten, die als energiegeladene Bastion aus Beats, Bass und Wut aus den Lautsprechern dröhnt. Nur wenigen zeitgenössischen Bands gelingt es, den Geist der frühen EBM so brutal zu kanalisieren wie dieser belgischen Combo. Untrennbar verbunden sind Belgien und EBM und natürlich das Familientreffen … und Bier!

Da sind sie wieder. Eigentlich haben sie vorerst die Projekte eingestellt, aber für uns verlassen sie ihren Planet69 exklusiv. Eine Mischung aus Full Contact69 und Proleturan will euch um die Ohren fegen.

Die Olsenbande im ostdeutschen TV war ja schon sehr erfolgreich. Aber In Absentia haut noch einen drauf. Bereits 1990 gegründet, haben sie der frühen dänischen EBM-Bewegung ihren Stempel aufgesetzt. Nun freuen wir uns, sie endlich bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen. Unterstützt wird die Band beim FT von Negant-Member Jens B. Petersen.

Immer wieder ein Frequenzangriff bis hin zum Tinitus. Orange Sector muss man nicht vorstellen, die kennt man. EBM in all seinen Facetten. Live ein Hammer für Auge und Ohr.

Diary of Dreams ist eine deutsche Band um den Sänger Adrian Hates. Anfänglich im Dark-Wave-Umfeld angesiedelt, wandelte sich die Musik von Diary of Dreams ab der Jahrtausendwende drastisch und es kamen Elemente aus dem Future Pop hinzu.

Das kanadische Cold-Wave-Duo TRAITRS spiegelt mit seinen melancholischen Melodien und Horror-inspirierten Texten und Bildern die Tristesse des modernen Lebens wider und hat sich heute als einer der am schnellsten aufsteigenden Stars im Gothic- und Post-Punk etabliert. Der Sänger/Gitarrist Shawn Tucker und der Synthesizer-Spieler Sean-Patrick Nolan wurden Ende 2015 in Toronto, Kanada, gegründet und verbindet eine gemeinsame Vorliebe für New Wave, Hardcore- und Punkrock-Kultur, Arthouse-Horrorfilme und düstere elektronische Musik.

Motel Transylvania is an independent Italian metal band founded in 2014.
The band has been expanding its live activity since the very beginning, performing in many cities around Europe.
In 2023 Motel Transylvania released the new album “Generation Lost”, produced by Marco Barusso.

Elegant Machinery ist eine schwedische Synthie-Pop-Band, die 1988 gegründet wurde und ihren Namen 1989 erhielt. Ihre Musik zeichnet sich durch alte analoge Synthesizer-Sounds aus, die an die 1980er Jahre erinnern.

1988 gründeten Richard Jomshof (geb. Johansson) und Leslie Bayne eine Band, ein Jahr später stieß Robert Enforsen als Hauptsänger dazu. 1989 wurden mit dem Produzenten Jonas Warnebring erste Demos unter anderen mit den Songs „Safety In Mind“ und „Little Sacrifice“ aufgenommen. Inspiriert durch das dritte Album der Band Data, nannte man sich nicht wie ursprünglich geplant Pole Position, sondern Elegant Machinery

Seit 1995 produzieren F. Sikorski und M. Weiland gemeinsam elektronische Musik und auch beruflich gehen beide Tätigkeiten innerhalb der Musikbranche nach: F. Sikorski ist Toningenieur und Betreiber des Tonstudios „Maratone Music“, wo beispielsweise Aufnahmen von Madonna, Britney Spears oder Kelly Clarkson abgemischt wurden. M. Weiland ist in der verwertenden Musikindustrie im Bereich Label und Vertrieb beschäftigt.

L. A. Salomon, ursprünglich Schlagzeuger, Sänger und Gitarrist zahlreicher lokaler Bands im Raum Hamburg, stieß 2001 hinzu, woraufhin Sono gegründet wurde. Er ist als Komponist sowie Musiker tätig und betrieb unter anderem das Funk- und Rock-Bandprojekt Jerobeam.

Außerhalb der Studioarbeit bieten Sono unterschiedliche Live-Konstellationen, angefangen bei DJ-Live-Sequencing-Sets bis hin zu Bühnenshows inklusive mehrköpfiger Rhythmusgruppe.

Covenant. It’s a name that implies extraordinary commitment, a certain grandiosity, and a bond stronger than blood. As a name, Covenant—with its biblical overtones—was perhaps a bit ambitious for an upstart band of teenagers from southern Sweden armed with rudimentary electronics, but it ended up being extraordinarily fitting. Whether or not life subsequently imitated art or art subsequently imitated life is debatable, either way the band’s moniker ended up perfectly summing up the vision, grandeur, and brotherhood that is the band itself.

Schattenmann sind ein ganz besonderes Phänomen der deutschen Musikszene. Über mittlerweile vier Alben (‚Licht an‘, 2018; ‚Epidemie‘, 2019; ‚Chaos‘, 2021, ‚Día de Muertos‘, 2023) und regelmäßig hohen Charts-Platzierungen hat sich die vierköpfige Band kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt und ihren Sound zu einem topmodernen Metal mit zeitgemäßen Industrial-Einflüssen geschliffen. Die Eckdaten des Schattenmann-2023-Stils: kraftvoll-dynamische Gitarren, die sich als wahre Riff-Monster erweisen und von einer erbarmungslosen Groove-Maschinerie aus Schlagzeug und Bass sowie dezent eingewobenen Synthie-Klänge wirkungsvoll in Szene gesetzt werden. Im Epizentrum dieses beinharten Sound-Konglomerats steht neben Gitarrist Jan Shook, Bassist Luke Shook und Schlagzeuger Nils Kinzig vor allem Schattenmann-Sänger Frank Herzig, der sich auch auf der Bühne als charismatischer und omnipräsenter Frontmann zeigt. Das Schattenmann-Credo: „Wir wollen Emotionen wecken, von guter Laune bis Wut, gleichzeitig darf es aber auch gerne mal melancholisch oder nachdenklich werden. Bei uns wird gelacht, geweint, getanzt, geschwitzt, also all das, wofür moderner Metal steht!“

It’s often the most difficult challenges that force a musician to grow artistically. For Lacrimas Profundere, one of the most innovative and successful German dark metal bands of our time, their latest studio album ‘How To Shroud Yourself With Night’ (scheduled for release on Steamhammer/SPV on 26 August 2022) was primarily about the implicit burden imposed by their 2019 hit record ‘Bleeding The Stars’, whose success had indirectly raised huge expectations: “Album of the Month” in magazines such as Metal Hammer, Orkus and Dead Rhetoric, top 10 positions in other important publications, plus a chart entry and the group’s most successful headlining tour to date.

Eisfabrik ist eine deutsche Electronic – und Future-Pop-Band. Eisfabrik ist ein Kunstprojekt mit fest integrierten Figuren als Protagonisten und sollte in seinem Gesamtkonzept auch als eigenständige Band und nicht nur als Projekt betrachtet werden. Die vier Eisfabrikannten sind Dr. Schnee, Der Frost, °Celsius und Fahrenheit. Musikalisch bewegt man sich irgendwo zwischen Dark Electro und Future Pop, wobei man durchaus auch offen für Ausbrüche in andere Richtungen elektronischer Art ist und dies gekonnt ins eigene Soundgewand integriert. Eingängigkeit und unterkühlte Harmonie stehen bei Eisfabrik besonders im Fokus.

SEA OF SIN are a German New Wave Pop Band that was originally founded in the 1990s and reached considerable success in international Synthpop scene through their debut album “Watch Out!” and the “Illuminate EP” that had been produced by Heiko Maile, member of German Synthpop pioneers CAMOUFLAGE.

After a long break SEA OF SIN caused a stir in 2018 with their long awaited comeback album “FUTURE PULSE” with various top 10 positions in the Deutsche Alternative Charts (DAC). Whilst this comeback album mostly consisted of re‐edits of older songs, SEA OF SIN 2019 started with completely new songs and a fantastic compilation of their best remixes in 2018 / 2019. And the wait was worth it.

Die Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft, auch unter dem Akronym DAF bekannt, war eine Band aus Düsseldorf. Die Band wird von einigen Musikkritikern neben Kraftwerk und Can zu den einflussreichsten deutschen Gruppen im Bereich der elektronischen Musik gezählt. Nach dem Tod von Gabi del Gado Lopez ist Robert Goerl allein auf der Bühne und versucht das Vermächtnis DAF zu erhalten und auch mit neuen Alben wie Titeln zu erweitern .

TWIN NOIR – „2 Punks and a Tape Machine“

TWIN NOIR is a Post-Punk/Wave/EBM artist duo founded in Berlin in 2021, consisting of Cody Barcelona (voice, electronics, guitar) and Ian Volt (voice, bass). Their music oscillates between electronically monotonic sounds, expansive atmospheres, and melodic moments, combined with minimalist lyrics in German.

The sound of TWIN NOIR is shaped by an analog tape machine, a sampler, guitars and a theremin, through which the duo creates their own blend of Punk and Wave music. Technoid beats, driving basslines, and atmospheres played alternately by synthesizers and guitars create moments that invite dancing, floating and drifting. The influences of both artists range from bands like KRAFTWERK and DAF to the EBM and Techno scenes, as well as Punk and Rock from the 70s to 90s.

j:dead is the creation of UK based artist Jay Taylor. j:dead’s style of music could be described as dark electro, but also encapsulates many differing influences that are a catalyst to the overall sound. Taylor brings a wide range of musical tastes and perspectives to his creations. Whether this be softer melodies from 80’s pop, harsh synths from 90’s trance or powerful and somewhat aggressive vocals from 00’s metal – j:dead finds the space, synergy and alternation to combine these elements within their music.

Taylor has been writing and performing music since he was 14 and found his first professional opportunity within the act Tactical Sekt, founded by artist Anthony Mather – who took a leap of faith with Taylor as a young and professionally inexperienced drummer at the age of 17. However, after a short period of time Taylor gained notoriety as a charismatic live performer – and ultimately brought a focus on high energy audience engagement into his performances. Taylor’s presence and awareness spread over the years which saw him perform as a live member in acts such as Tyske Ludder who he still performs with presently as a live drummer. Over this period of time Taylor was also crafting his art and ability as a frontman and vocalist – focusing on more aggressive acts within thrash metal, death metal and electronicore. With over two decades of live exposure across this wide range of acts, Taylor felt it was time to solidify his own creations and outreach with j:dead. The focus: creating music which he loved, and building on his experiences to entertain audiences in the live arena under his own name.

Vor bereits mehr als 25 Jahren startete die Karriere einer Band, deren Name heute nicht mehr aus der hiesigen Electro-Szene weg­zudenken ist – die Rede ist von Solitary Experiments.
Mit ihren mittlerweile sechs Studio Alben, drei Remix Compilations, einem Klassikalbum, EP´s und diversen Singleauskopplungen und einer Live-DVD, zählen die Jungs aus Berlin mittlerweile zur Oberliga auf dem Sektor der elektronischen Unterhaltungsmusik.

1994 in Frankfurt (Oder) von Dennis Schober und Michael Thielemann gegründet und durch Steve Graeber verstärkt, konnte die Band sich bereits mit ihren ersten drei Alben „FINAL APPROACH“, „PARADOX“ und der dazugehörigen Remix-Scheibe „FINAL ASSAULT“ (Maschinenwelt Records) einen Namen innerhalb der Szene machen. Daraufhin folgte der Wechsel zum renommierten Label Out Of Line und konnten mit dem Album „ADVANCE INTO UNKNOWN“ vollends durch­zustarten.

2006 von Andreas G. (Elektroarsch) gegründet, begann der Hellectro-Feldzug
für Terrorfrequenz im Jahr 2008 mit dem Debütalbum Der schleichende Tod

Nach Manuel S. (Mangler) Einstieg im selben Jahr wurde die Live-Show rund um den Harsh-Hellectro entwickelt und ausgebaut. Später durch Akteurinnen, bspw.
TerrorSin in einer atemberaubende Splatter Schauspiel-Show exklusiv in Szene gesetzt.

Nach den ersten Konzert-Highlights mit Bands wie Eisenfunk und Fabrik C kam 2009 schon das zweite knackige Album In der Dunkelheit unter die Massen.
