  the_empath’s music ranges between ambient and electronica with organic industrial audio components. a stimulating flow of imaginative soundscapes, complex rhythmic textures, mixtures of experimental electronics, field recordings and ground loops. crystal clear tones meet thrilling low frequencies. the result of this electronic crucible is a powerful mind infiltrating compound.

  KREIGN is an American Electronic Body Music (EBM) project based in Phoenix, Arizona. The duo, Xiån Austin and Ryan Hutman, created KREIGN to pay homage to the raw energy and pioneering spirit of old-school EBM. However, their sound goes beyond mere tribute. Their tracks are a fusion of classic EBM elements with a modern edge, combining dynamic basslines and aggressive beats. The result is a sound that is both nostalgic and innovative, with a distinctive swagger that sets them apart.

  For those new to KREIGN, expect a visceral journey through dark, pulsating soundscapes, commanding vocals, and an unyielding drive that defines their music. Whether you’re a long-time fan of EBM or new to the genre, KREIGN offers a fresh yet familiar sound that captivates and energizes.

  alias: Bert Lehmann

  about: Evidently influenced by classic Dark Ambient/Industrial artists like Lustmord, Ah-Cama Sotz and the like, Mortaja worked for years as a living room only project. When Bert – the head of this one-man project – decided to give a demo to audiophob, we were surprised by the quality of his productions and the fact that he has never released anything so far. Bert quickly became member of the audiophob family and has demonstrated his musical abilities on several releases as well as live performances. His highlights so far were live appearances at the Maschinenfest and Schlagstrom festivals.
